What happens at your appointment

Vitamin B12 helps keep your nerves and blood cells healthy. We check your health first, then give the injection.

  1. Health questionsWe ask about your health, diet and medicines to make sure the injection is suitable.
  2. Quick injectionThe injection is given into a muscle, usually in your upper arm.
  3. In and out quicklyThe appointment is usually short.
